【摘要】:ThispartofBS1722specifiesrequirementsforanti-intruderchainlinkorweldedmeshfencesandgatesofatleast2.4minheightforsituationsthatrequireahigherlevelofprotectionthanthatofferedbyfencesconformingtoBS1722-1.Italsoincludesrequirementsfortheinstallationofthefencingatthespecifiedlocation.Provisionismadeforeithersingleordoubleextensionarms.Thisstandardincludesrequirementsforcomponentdimensions,togetherwiththepermissibletolerancesonsize.Theseareminimumrequirementsanditshouldnormallybeacceptabletouselargersizes,exceptifthiscouldotherwiseadverselyaffectthefittingofcomponentsorifreplacementpartsarerequiredtomatchwiththosealreadypresent.Thisstandardincludesrequirementsforprotectivetreatments.However,maintenancerequirementsforthefenceafterinstallationareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.Itspecifiesconcreteorsteelpostsandstruts,steelgatesandgatepostsandzinccoatedorplasticcoatedzinccoatedwireormeshinfill.Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsforfencematerialsandtheircombinationandinstallation.Becauseafenceismadeupofanumberofseparatecomponentsofwhichtheparticularfeaturesvary,e.g.zinccoatedorplasticcoatedwire,anumberofcombinationsareavailabletotheuser.AnnexCprovidesdetailsofthefencerequirementsandinstallationsitethatshouldbeagreedbetweenthefencesupplierandpurchaseratthetimeoforderingafence.However,asconditionsvaryfromsitetosite,AnnexCshouldnotbeassumedtobeexhaustive.
