【摘要】:Theheatofcombustionisameasureoftheenergyavailablefromafuel.Aknowledgeofthisvalueisessentialwhenconsideringthethermalefficiencyofequipmentforproducingeitherpowerorheat.Theheatofcombustionasdeterminedbythistestmethodisdesignatedasoneofthechemicalandphysicalrequirementsofbothcommercialandmilitaryturbinefuelsandaviationgasolines.Themassheatofcombustion,theheatofcombustionperunitmassoffuel,isacriticalpropertyoffuelsintendedforuseinweight-limitedcraftsuchasairplanes,surfaceeffectvehicles,andhydrofoils.Therangeofsuchcraftbetweenrefuelingisadirectfunctionoftheheatofcombustionanddensityofthefuel.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheheatofcombustionofliquidhydrocarbonfuelsranginginvolatilityfromthatoflightdistillatestothatofresidualfuels.1.2Undernormalconditions,thistestmethodisdirectlyapplicabletosuchfuelsasgasolines,kerosines,Nos.1and2fueloil,Nos.1-Dand2-DdieselfuelandNos.0-GT,1-GT,and2-GTgasturbinefuels.1.3ThistestmethodisnotasrepeatableandnotasreproducibleasTestMethodD4809.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSections7and9andA1.10andAnnexA3.
